1. the movement part
The movement part is about getting you to do just that: move. We are all different! It may be about getting you fitter, faster, potentially leaner (if that's where your body wants to be, healthfully) and more flexible, our coaching relationship will help get you moving and fill those areas that you may have been neglecting. True health is about developing balance! With this will come a customized movement/fitness plan that you can follow online, at home or in the gym, plus weekly check-ins to ensure you're staying on the track you need to be on.
2. the food part
In a world ridden with diet culture, varying opinions and information on what's right and wrong to eat, and influencers telling you what THEY eat in a day -- determining what's right for your body and needs can be utterly confusing. I'm here to alleviate some of that pressure and complication, and work with you to figure out what foods and method of eating is most intuitive and good for you, through conversation, experimentation and planning. Whatever your dietary preferences, we will figure out a plan that works best for you and your lifestyle, while driving you toward your goals and leaving room for life to happen.
3. the mind part
This is where the other two pillars really overlap: where your mind is. I am here to provide you with tools, guidance, knowledge and support to achieve your goals; and it all really does start with you. I will be here for you every step of the way, without judgement, to keep you on track with your goals - which means checking in to make sure your mindset is not only in line with them, but that it's supporting you, too. Our bodies hear everything our minds think, so do everything for your body with love.
private and group wellness coaching
I believe in the accessibility of wellness to all people. As a not-too-long-ago broke college student with a hectic schedule and energetic blocks, I understand the tendency to put your wellbeing on the back-burner. However, having hit a point where all I could think was, "something has to change", I quickly learned that your health; your body; your wellbeing, is worth investing in. So I provide my clients with as many resources and tools as possible to ensure that you are equipped to become the exact version of yourself that you want to be.
Your goals are within reach, and I will help you reach them. As a coach, I focus with my clients (either 1:1 and/or in a group setting) on any or all of the three pillars of health: physical fitness, nutrition, and emotional wellbeing. And they are all connected! We will be focusing on each of these categories individually, and as we progress, it will become evident just how connected they really are. I will be here for you every step of the way!
Creating yourself is a lifelong practice that starts with you, and sometimes we need a little extra support and guidance to get to exactly where we want to go. There is no weakness in asking for help. In fact, there is strength in it!
To start, I will have you fill out a questionnaire so that I can get to know you a little better and learn about your fitness and health history. This will help me focus what I offer to best serve you and your individual needs. Every body is different!
